I wanted to share a little story...proof, for anyone who may doubt the amazing power of how Pilates can truly change your body.
Some of you may know that I'm marrying the most amazing man next month! Anyhow, I had my first dress fitting in early August. At my second dress fitting, toward the end of September, I knew something was different the second I put the dress on...so did my seamstress.
In the month between fittings, I continued to do everything the same...Crossfit pretty much daily, eating well (nothing super strict or crazy), running on days that I didn't do Crossfit, and of course, rest days.
BUT there is one thing that I changed 10 days before my second fitting...I decided to reincorporate Pilates into my fitness routine, and I feel great! Now, as an instructor, I know that Pilates works...but honestly, I was SHOCKED!
At my second fitting my seamstress asked me what I had been doing and what my plans were for the next month and a half until my wedding. She said had to bring the dress in the same exact amount as she had originally pinned back in August. She said brides do usually lose a little weight, but if I was going to continue to lose inches in my waist, my dress would fall off!
I know that every body, and everybody, is different, but I encourage you to join me...give Pilates a shot (or get back into it), because Pilates can truly change your body!
