TotalBody Pilates Mat classes take place where else...but on the mat of course. We'll visit a variety of positions, including: standing, sitting, lying down, etc.
Pilates is a method of the spine, while focusing on your "box", "Powerhouse"...aka, your core. We'll use our own body to control movements, strengthening and lengthening muscles.
Each class will incorporate movements that will target specific areas of your body, ultimately providing a full body workout.
We'll challenge your movements, and comfort zone, by incorporating various props, i.e. resistance bands, fitness balls, magic circles, etc. to continuously progress in TotalBody Pilates Mat classes.
And that's right...the Pilates method was developed by a man, so it's certainly not just for females!
